Give them simple bland home cooked food as they might fall ill eating food from a restaurant.

Gift them soft furry blankets instead of rough ones. Take them to choose their own shoes or sandals if you are planning to give them footwear. Try not to think of some fancy pattern which might hurt their feet. They would love to wear comfortable shoes, so spend it in the right way so the value of money wouldn't be lost.

Gift them something which they will fall in love with. Give them something religious tp make them happy as they live out their golden years. You will then become their favorite grandchild.
